Here comes the...groom?

Jackeline and Ethan turned tradition on its head at their mountain top wedding when Jackeline walked down the aisle first. Walking arm and arm with her father, she turned to face a large door that stood behind the guests. The bridesmaids, each holding a lantern, processed through the door, followed by a junior bridesmaid holding a sign that read, "Here Comes the Groom." A groomsman sounded a trumpet, and Ethan stepped through the door to meet his bride at the outdoor ceremony space.

Jackeline and Ethan lovingly planned all of their details, from their first touch at the bridal suite door to the fusion of Brazilian and American traditions. They incorporated faith-based symbols throughout their day, including having the groom walk down the aisle to his bride through bridesmaids and groomsmen holding lanterns in a nod to a biblical parable. They even commemorated the beginning of their marriage with an act of service by washing each other's feet. Under a white tent with the Shenandoah mountains as their backdrop, Jackeline and Ethan created an intimate atmosphere around themselves and their guests, who were loving and joyful participants in the day.

For their newlywed portraits, they each wanted to incorporate all of the things they loved about Luray. Jackeline requested portraits in the downtown area, while Ethan asked for a mountain backdrop. As the sun set, they returned to their guests under the tent for toasts and a choreographed first dance. To ensure every guest could participate in the celebration, all speeches were translated.

After dinner, Jackeline and Ethan moved to the barn with their guests for a cake cutting and dancing. They concluded the evening with a sparkler exit and private last dance.
